  Quality Assurance

It really is easy to say that we strive for excellence, but at Northwest we support this claim with a set of proactive measures to ensure that our properties are maintained in optimal conditions. Field visits, digital photos, assessments reports, metrics, memos and systematic follow-ups keep our office staff aware of and involved with conditions in the field. This way we are able, oftentimes, to correct situations before they turn into problems.

Routine sites inspections are performed by trained management personnel to assess all aspects of landscape and parking lot care. Detailed analyses are made, specification compatible checklists are completed and digital photographs prepared for subsequent entry into central office data files. Responsible personnel are notified so that corrective/preventative action can be taken. When necessary, work orders are requested, approved and implemented. Follow up measures are taken to ensure work is completed as stated.

Field personnel are also required to make periodic assessments of their own properties and submit digital photos where issues exist. Each month they must submit accountability reports (metrics) that show frequency of site visits and work functions performed. These reports are scrutinized for accuracy and, at times, compared to other monitoring measures. In addition, we require descriptive updates of mulching schedules, annuals installations, irrigation start ups and winterization, etc.
